The candidate should maintain the flexibility to meet strict deadlines, adjust work priorities, and enable the continuous progress of multiple projects.

Your Opportunity - As a system software engineer, you will be given the chance for a meaningful and recognizable impact in our company's evolution. You will be part of small collaborative team working with a wide variety of technologies and products. Your responsibilities will include designing, prototyping, integrating, and sustaining innovative products. Our photonic curing systems are enabling new and exciting electronics manufacturing processes worldwide. You will have a large role in crafting that change.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop features for system coordination, data acquisition, and machine control
  • Maintenance and issue resolution for both internal and external customers
  • Workbench, unit, and system testing as needed
  • Implement integrations/solutions for specific customer applications
  • Coordinate implementations with small team of co-located engineers including electrical and mechanical design teams when applicable

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ yrs experience working with Javascript or similar high-level programming languages
  • Experience programming in LabVIEW preferably with cRIO/sbRIO desired, LabVIEW Developer certification a plus
  • Knowledge of embedded software programming is beneficial
  • Experience with source control (Git, SVN, etc.) and project management tools (JIRA, Rally, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:

$80,000 - $120,000 Based on experience
