Futch's Tractor Depot is currently looking for small engine technician.  We will consider internships for candidates that have an acceptable amount of mechanical knowledge to train under an experienced technician.  Starting pay will be determined by experience and/or certifications. Entry level mechanics are encouraged to apply. Entry level technicians as well as experienced veteran mechanics will have multiple training and certification opportunities.

Candidates need to be good communicators, conducts and presents themselves in a safe, productive, and professional manner. This job is mainly Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM till 5:30 PM but if the needs of the business dictate that additional hours and/or days are required the applicant must be able to meet these needs.

JOB DUTIES: (not limited to)

  • Diagnosing equipment, quoting and repairing equipment.
  • Assisting Customers.


  • Basic tools for general mechanical work.
  • Computer skills are a plus.


  • Must have a positive attitude and good customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision in a safe and professional manner.
  • Must be able to be present and on-time for their scheduled shift.
  • Must dress clean and appropriate for retail business.


  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Varies depending on skills, certifications, and experience.
  • Work Week Schedule consists of Monday thru Friday and Saturday (if scheduled)
  • Hours Monday through Friday and some Saturdays - 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM as scheduled.
  • Online, Instructor lead, and in-house training is available (some required).
