Quality code is critical to the success of software product or company, yet more importantly, it is critical to our clients as we work to make their lives simply, healthier and happier. K4Connect is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to ensure our product serves our clients well every time they use it, even under some of the most challenging environments. Ideal candidates for this position will take ownership and dedicate themselves fully to the testing of software that always delivers a truly wonderful user experience.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product and development teams to define and drive manual and automation testing efforts. Additionally, they are detailed oriented, passionate about quality and a strong advocate for the end user experience. This role is critical to ensuring our software runs smoothly and meets our customer's needs.


  • Translate functional requirements into detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Test new product features and ensure they are delivered with the highest quality.
  • Run regression, smoke and sanity tests to support production releases.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution.
  • Provide suggestions for improving the end user experience.
  • Partner with team leads to decrease manual testing and identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience testing web applications, web or mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of common software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Expertise with Jira / TestRail / GitHub.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Preferences:

  • Working knowledge of webservices, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with Cypress testing framework.
  • Willingness to do in-depth research and continuously learn.
  • Comfortable working in a startup, and willing to go beyond your core job responsibilities.
  • Risk tolerant, willing to try new things.
  • Willing to push individual ideas forward, yet a team player and collaborator.
