Berkshire Blanket and Home Co. needs your passion to help us bring new product to market both on our online retail channels and in stores across the country. We are the largest designer and importer of blankets, throws, and soft home décor in the U.S., and we are avidly searching for our newest product development team member!

As an account manager you will support our product development team in the development and merchandising of new products. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 depending on your level of experience. 

Essential Functions:

  • Contribute and coordinate presentations for customers to support sales.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market (competitive shopping & reporting)
  • Maintain customer required product specifications & details.
  • Daily communication with buyers and retail teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments on product development, design, production, and supply chain. 
  • Manage pre-production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Serve as key liaison between Sales and Asia production department.
  • Request and maintain data on costing, margins and specs.
  • Completing customer specific forms and other system requirements accurately.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years experience in Product Management, Merchandising, Marketing, or Sales support. 
  • Textile industry experience a big plus but not required.
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software a plus.
  • Retail/Merchandising experience a plus.
  • Account management experience a plus.
