About us
Ada Developers Academy is a non-profit, tuition-free coding school for women and gender expansive adults. We focus on serving Black, Latine, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander communities, low-income people, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our program consists of two highly immersive parts: six months of focused instruction, and five months of internship at partner companies, where students refine their skills working on real-world code.
About this position
We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our organization during a period of exciting expansion. As a member of our growing team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, negotiating, implementing, and managing partnerships with nationwide companies. This role will be integral to supporting our mission by contributing to our resource optimization and increasing our community connections. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with an annual salary range of $95,000 to $105,000 (DOE) and excellent benefits.
For eligible positions, hybrid and remote work schedules are made available to workers working within certain jurisdictions (currently limited to the states of Washington, Virginia, Georgia, Oregon, and Texas).
Core responsibilities
Develop presentations and proposals, schedule meetings, cultivate relationships, present opportunities to potential partners, and negotiate agreements
Build and manage project plan, implement, deliver, and manage partnership, ensuring successful execution and ongoing support
Essential qualifications
Bachelor's degree or technical degree
At least 6 years of customer relationship experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience in sales
Experience and high-level of comfort with presentations or demonstrations to senior leadership at external companies
Desire to contribute meaningful impact
Self-starter with ability to organize and complete tasks independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management skills
Demonstrated embodiment of Ada's values in a professional environment
