Job Description

This position will work in the shipping and receiving department and report directly to the Production Supervisor. The responsibilities will include monitoring and recording all incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing parcels for shipment, as well as unpacking incoming goods. They will be required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.

  • $15.00-$18.00/hour
  • Between 7:00AM-5:00PM flexible
  • 20 Hours per week

Specific Duties May Include:

  • Keep warehouse organized and clean (sweep floor, throw away trash, break down and place cardboard in cardboard compactor, etc.)
  • Completing pick ticket orders
  • Unloading/receiving all OTR deliveries
  • Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck
  • Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned daily
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
  • Operating forklifts safely and responsibly
  • Occasionally drive company vehicles to delivery / pick up products
  • Treating all customers, vendor, and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
  • Performing all duties safely

Specific Qualifications Include:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent Must have prior shipping and receiving experience
  • Hazmat certified
  • Forklift experience required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Previous experience in Chemical Handling experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude and team player
