Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Logistics Manager with outstanding customer service skills. The Logistics Manager needs to be refined with proven managerial skills with a passion for excellence. They will provide onsite leadership to ensure the logistics quality, delivery, cost. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for maximizing the operating unit productivity capacities to achieve economic commitments and increase customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. College degree in Business Management, Transportation, or another relevant business discipline is preferred.
  • Past experience (5+ years) and proven success in a logistics manager or similar role
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Take ownership for different projects and manage direct reports in a fast-paced environment.

  • Select carriers and negotiate prices for deliveries.
  • Manage and maintain quality, quantity, transport costs, delivery times and efficiency.
  • Respond to and resolve any arising problems and complaints.
  • Supervise, train, and coach workforce.
