Kitchen Manager
Position Summary

As a Kitchen Manager you will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a customer oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and maintain an effective internal and external communication system

  • Organize and chair kitchen meetings

  • Act as liaison to outside guest and agents

  • Maintain inventory control

  • Maintain cost control

  • Oversee recruitment and staffing

  • Conduct employee orientations and development training's

  • Develop and maintain an employee assessment system

  • Develop and maintain all policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain a maintenance control system

  • Develop and maintain an effective Health and Safety system

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and county regulations

Physical Requirements
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.

  • Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.

  • You may be exposed to airborne particles, caustic, chemicals, electric current, moving parts, muscular strain, noise, and odors.
