The Role

The Service Manager is a liaison between service technicians, service advisors and customers, is responsible for making a preliminary diagnose of the customers unit thats been brought to Service to determine the best course of action about repairs to be performed by the inhouse technicians team or a third-party shop (according to service shop process). In addition, is responsible for greeting clients, following up on customer requests, estimating repair costs and constantly update customers until repairs are completed.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

  • Gathering customer concerns, making proving questions around vehicle failures, and inspecting the unit to make a preliminary diagnosis.
  • Examines vehicle, diagnoses and, if needed discusses with management as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunction before repairs process starts.
  • Builds and maintain business relationship with clients by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty.
  • Following up with mechanics on behalf of the customer about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
  • Contacting customers to update them on the status of their service, notifying them of any possible changes in their service and when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
  • Answering customer questions about the outcome of their service

This is the right opportunity for you if you are

  • 4-5 years experience at a major franchise dealership as a service writer or service supervisor
  • 3+ year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Bilingual Spanish/ English required
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
  • A valid drivers license with a good driving record is required
