The Role

As an Assistant Manager at Ganas Auto your primary mission will be to grow the store, providing a positive and satisfactory experience to our customers during and after the loan application process and the automotive sale process. The Assistant Manager will build strong and collaborative work relationships with new and existing customers, with team members and other stores and local partners.

What will you be doing at Ganas Auto?

  • Interview, hire, and train the Customer Experience Specialists.
  • Oversees the staff schedule.
  • Along with the General Manager, conduct team meetings and one-on-ones with team members to monitor performance and establish goals. Identify training needs, and if needed work in a Performance Improvement Plan providing timely and constructive evaluations.
  • Ensure the appropriate utilization of the AutoMas system, making sure the complete documentation for the loan application process is uploaded correctly and that notes and deal terms were submitted appropriately.
  • Knowledge of incoming inventory, automotive features, accessories, and how they can benefit our customers.
  • Manage customer files and protect customer information in compliance with state and federal privacy laws, and Company Policy.
  • Ensures that quality vehicle condition report inspections are completed according to company policy.
  • Provide an excellent experience to our customers, during and after the sales process.
  • Assist the Customer Experience Specialists team with the application and sales process and handle escalated customer complaints. To make sure the customer transaction is closed successfully.

This is the right opportunity for you, if you have

  • College Degree, required.
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory/management role is highly preferred.
  • 3 + years of experience in Customer Service and Sales.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish required.
  • Valid Drivers License, with a good driving record for the previous 3 years. Needs to be able to operate a variety of vehicles.
  • Computer and technical skills. Comfortable to complete deal actions in the AutoMas system.
  • Be able to work flexible, fulltime schedule, weekends and holidays.
